ezStore123/MerchantComplete's unique modular architecture enables Service Providers or IT personnel to extend the functionality of the system to meet specific needs. //digital things has already leveraged this feature to meet the special needs of certain customers such as AOL Preferred Merchants.

Plug-ins are easily added to the Admin Center main menu by editing the 'customMenu.inc' include file.

How-To:
A sample file (customMenuENABLED.inc) is provided to help integrators. If you want to add custom items to your application, simply rename the original 'customMenu.inc' file to some other name and rename 'customMenuENABLED.inc' to 'customMenu.inc'.
Your Admin Center will now display the 'Plug-Ins' button and show a sample link. Of course this is the easy part, as you have now to develop your plug-in. Feel free to use the standard backgrounds, images and colors in order to maintain the 'look & feel' of your Admin Center. All graphical resources can be found in the .../admin/images folder and are yours to use for all integration purposes. We can even provide you upon request with a screen template so that all your custom screens will have the same look & feel as the rest of your Admin Center.

Standard Plug-Ins:
These plug-ins can be added upon request and are free. Some conditions may apply.

AOL QuickCheckout:
This plug-in allows AOL Preferred Merchants to map their products to AOL-specific categories and to export the product information in AOL-compatible XML format. You must become an AOL Preferred Merchant to use this feature.

Other plug-ins will be developed and made available in the future.

Custom Plug-Ins:
//digital things has developed the following custom plug-ins especially for some merchants. Some customization is required in order to integrate the plug-ins listed below to your e-commerce system.

E-Mail Lead Collection & Management Sub-System (ELCM):
This system allows e-mail addresses to be collected from the web site then used for marketing campaigns.

E-Mail-To-A-Friend:
This system works in conjunction with the ELCM and allows advanced marketing by allowing your customers to forward coupons or other marketing material to friends & associates.

MAS90 Integration Tools:
The MAS90 integration tools allows full, bi-directional integration between your e-commerce system and your MAS90 accounting system.

Mail Order Manager (M.O.M.) Integration Tools:
The M.O.M. integration tools is implemented as an extension of the export functions and allows upload of web orders to M.O.M.

These sub-systems are proprietary and were developed to meet specific needs. In general, they cannot be used 'as is' for all customers. However, //digital things can leverage the experience acquired in these domains to develop your custom solution.

Note about Access Security for Plug-Ins:
By default, plug-ins are not managed by the security system and are accessible to all users. If the need arises, we can provide a module to integrate your custom plug-ins into the store security for a nominal charge.
