and integration process was completed in just over a month. By July 2002,
the online store sales had doubled.
May 2002: In order to handle the ever-increasing sales volume,
HomeSecurityStore.com commissioned from //digital things a full,
bi-directional integration package to seamlessly integrate the online
operations with their Accounting System, reducing the data entry overhead.
July 2004: Having become a significant player in the online security business,
HomeSecurityStore turned to the marketing power of Amazon.com and
commissioned from //digital things a full integration package in order to
position their products on Amazon.com. The integration package also
handles downloading of Amazon orders and shipping notification through the
Amazon.com system.
February 2005: HomeSecurityStore.com commissioned from //digital things an extensive
affiliate system that includes capability for affiliates to sign-up
directly from the site, being verified & vetted then receiving
substantial commissions from every confirmed referred order. Affiliates
can consult their commission report in real-time via a secure web interface. This
system will further increase the customer reach of HomeSecurityStore.com
as hundreds of affiliates are expected to sign-up for the referral
program.
January 2006: HomeSecurityStore.com is the first site to use the new features
offered by ezStore123:
1) Automatic product ranking system (customers can rank products from 1 to
5 stars and share their experience with others). 2) Advanced product
details page (tabbed pages for easier access to product information). 3)
Product image slide-show. An unlimited amount of images can be displayed.
The results are in: more and better product information produces more
sales.
